Not sure putting a 200tdi would be worth it!! It would be a disco engine as a decent fender one is mega money and then pipes and stuff will need altering. To do a proper conversion costs a lot of money and price would have to feflect this.

Most but not all!! A lot of people buy 90's and add bits to them very cheaply and only do half a job. Always best to take some1 who knows there stuff before parting with your cash

That will cause the turbo to chuck the oil into engine and run its self (run away) Get it sorted!! Don't drive it

For starts its NOT a 200tdi it's a 19J and yes they are slow and turbo does well not a lot. And regarding pipes not 100% sure what your on about but can't you unkink the pipe?

My father had the TD4 and it towed loverly. More expensive but maybe not in the long run

With a freelander you still won't experience the off-road scene

Yes, but the disco one is 60mm and fender is 50mm. I have the 60mm one but is a very tight fit

If he is swapping the engine in the summer, wind the turbo up to the stop and adjust the pump and have fun while it lasts
