I've just swapped my clutch fork for a heavy duty one without the hole! and seperating engine and gearbox fine, swapping the fork and slave cylinder fine but just CAN not get bell housing studs to line up and sync with transmission case holes whatever I do. I spent 8 hours today and 3 yesterday...

I'm in the middle of replacing my clutch folk and about to reasemble it all and all clips and bits that come with folk are obvious except this little L shape plastic staple, anyone know what it is or where it goes I can't see one on old set up I just tookout. Thanks in antisipation Mark.

Hi, I'm just in in the process of dropping my gearbox on my 1988 90 so I can slide it back in order to give me enough access to replace my clutch folk in the bellhousing, whilst dismantling bits in the interior I had to take the transfer lever and housing off the top of the box and found that...

I have just orderd a new slave cylinder and clutch folk with all relavant clips etc. Is there a chance it could just be the slave cylinder and I won't need to do the folk (ie get into bellhousing) I thought with the clutch now stuck solid and no movement though on pedal it must be the folk...
