cheers for all that will read the instructions for the program and try again and i will clean the connections and take note of all the faults as for leaks the air bags are like new they was replaced about 2months before i bought the car and the air pump is supposingly new but not sure on that...

hi my tranfer box on my 2.5dse p38 seems to be vibrating quite badly im sure its this as if you put pressure on it pulling down it stops could this be a bearing inside on the main drive from the gearbox?? has anyone else had this problem?? anyideas what else it could be? cheers people

hi i was the one that recently changed my 4.6 to a 2.5 diesel when i fitted myn i had to change all the front wiring loom but as yours is a 1998 so all looms should be the same as i put a 97 engine into a 94 i had to change it and the gearbox ecus will need to be changed to the diesel ones as...

finally fixed the range rover :) :D :D :) it was a cogg in the oil pump that had chipped causing the pump not to work so convertion from 4.6hse to 2.5 dhse is now complete and running great except now have no electric seats:(

yep holds when its in park bout all it does do:( do you no where abouts the solenoid is on the box??

i had a 4.6 hse when i was 17 and the insurence was £3500 then i sold that one and bought a 2.5dse an the insurence was £2000 so there is a great difference in the quotes but they rate it on how much damage the car could do and a rangie can do alot in an accident iswell as rating engine size id...
