    I have just bought a new in tank fuel pump for my 2.5dse P38 and fitted it and it doesnt work. I am an electrical/mechanical engineer by trade and have taken it back out and i have 12v down to the pump but nothing. Is this a common occurence with Britpart replacement parts??     thanks for the suggestions guys, keep them coming. The top intercooler hose is very very soft. I'll start here. It just seems strange it was absolutely fine untill i hit the kick down at 70mph. Ill start with the obvious like split hoses, loose connections etc

    it was a Tesco garage :doh: It seems like i have no turbo pressure at all now though. Anything other than mild acceleration causes loads of black smoke out the back and no power whatsoever. It would barely get to 70mph on a flat and 50 uphill. Im going to check for split pipes etc in the morning
