    RRC 4 Belts

Had this reply re part numbers from Rimmers but different sight list some as aircon or non aircon etc... I thought it would be simple to fine the 4 front mounted belt part numbers but proving fiddly. Rimmers told me - The only part number I can see are 611612, ERR2073, ERC675 and 611612 again

    RRC 4 Belts

I am looking at changing all 4 belts on my 90' 3.9 EFI Range Rover and tried to find the part numbers with no real luck... If anyone knows them or where I can find out easily that would help massively. I have seen some 'cheap' ones and some LR ones going for £2 to £12 for OEM ones and also...

    Range Rover Classic HGF ???

Going for a decent run in it hopefully tomorrow... No problem on the exp tank opening I am very careful around this hot or cold and take all precautions. Hoping it may be some old residue if this happened sometime in the past fingers crossed... if it is HGF or something else then will just get...

    Range Rover Classic HGF ???

Cheers... will do (if funds are allowed). One other thing I noticed is when I open the Coolant Exp Tank slowly I get the hissing as normally followed by the gurgling/bubbling noise like letting air back in don't know if this is of any consequence, on my ZT I only get short burst of hissing.

    Range Rover Classic HGF ???

Saint.v8 / Mike, Once I have taken it out I will post a few pics up on this thread showing what I can see... Thanks for quick responses. Its not the end of the world but as I have an MG ZT 1.8T which is just HGF in waiting was hoping the V8 to be bullet proof so long as I treated it nicely...

    Range Rover Classic HGF ???

Mike, I like these sort of 'eveyrthing will be ok' type responses from people who know more than me ! I will give it a run around the block (well M6 loop) for an hour at a nice pace, keeping an eye on the temp... with my Green Flag and plenty of top up coolant. If I change the gaskets then...

    Range Rover Classic HGF ???

After spending much time effort and money sorting New tyres, ABS pumps, steering box, exhaust etc... About £1200 spent since aquired in August, I was looking forward to a winter spring of getting some use out of the 90' V8. However decided to give it a bit of a clean and change one of the...

    RRC Air intake mods

No one made any nice simple improvements on the 3.9 classic air intake ?? or is it the usual leave well alone and use the nice and cheap paper filters not the expensive aftermarket ones like K&N ?

    RRC Air intake mods

Has anyone ever modified the RRC air intake from that long steel tube thing... ?? Mine has a K&N in it (Red colour). My MAF which I checked out a few weeks back is very clean and clear of stuff, used some Isopropyl to help give it a clean out. Currently I am having a NEW steering box which...

    Classic Sports Exhaust

I have been offered what I am told is a full Stainless sports exhaust system for my 3.9 Classic. Mine currently has a Disco V8 Exhaust rear fitted for some reason... I am told it is a Scorpion or Skorpion (not sure on the spelling) Been offered this (seen it and it looks as NEW...) + a...

Anyone see the RRC on TV last night?

I saw the Discovery channel a couple of nights ago about the Iranina Embassy Siege and the SAS operation. About 20 mins in they jump in to a white Classic and zoom off... made me feel slightly more macho :)

    No Brakes.....

ABS light now goes out without moving... the Brake light follow when car moves. Pump is so quiet compared the old one. The change of Thermostat has now got the engine temp gauge up to about 1/2 way AND we now have nice hot air coming through in the cabin :) :) Happy Days and thanks to all...

Its with my Rangey specialist friend... He is trying to source an ABS pump (RTC 6889) I think... with no joy. Whole thing makes a loud whine noise for 5 mins with ABS and brake lights remainining on then it will go off along with the light. Then it will fire up every few mins but the lights...

    Snow is coming!

Is there an agreed forum rate for BMW ditch pulls/tows this winter ? divide the country up in to local regions and away we go :)

    No Brakes.....

OK thanks for this... I can't see anything like the P38 Black cylinder looking accumulator anywhere on the ABS... it does have a valve with a rubber cover on it which spits out a small amount of fluid if you loosend it off slightly. I will see what I can find out and maybe take a pic or 2 to help.

    No Brakes.....

I have the normal error on my 91 RR 3.9 where it has BRAKE and ABS red lights on until you go about 10mph and they go away. The noisy little pump sound form bulkhead when I start up is the norm and used to it... Started it up yesterday but was not listening as was dodging around the engine bay...
