Had this reply re part numbers from Rimmers but different sight list some as aircon or non aircon etc... I thought it would be simple to fine the 4 front mounted belt part numbers but proving fiddly. Rimmers told me - The only part number I can see are 611612, ERR2073, ERC675 and 611612 again

I am looking at changing all 4 belts on my 90' 3.9 EFI Range Rover and tried to find the part numbers with no real luck... If anyone knows them or where I can find out easily that would help massively. I have seen some 'cheap' ones and some LR ones going for £2 to £12 for OEM ones and also...

Cheers... will do (if funds are allowed). One other thing I noticed is when I open the Coolant Exp Tank slowly I get the hissing as normally followed by the gurgling/bubbling noise like letting air back in don't know if this is of any consequence, on my ZT I only get short burst of hissing.

Got my Classic back after it spent 2 weeks with a friend. Replaced the Steering box and fitted the scorpion exhaust which he had to mod the Y piece so its pretty much now a one off with all wiring re routed to avoid the manifolds etc... all properly fitted stainless everything and waxoyl...

No one made any nice simple improvements on the 3.9 classic air intake ?? or is it the usual leave well alone and use the nice and cheap paper filters not the expensive aftermarket ones like K&N ?

ABS light now goes out without moving... the Brake light follow when car moves. Pump is so quiet compared the old one. The change of Thermostat has now got the engine temp gauge up to about 1/2 way AND we now have nice hot air coming through in the cabin :) :) Happy Days and thanks to all...

All done.... Get it back Sunday morning... :) ABS pump fitted and brakes are far better now. Also managed to get the Thermostat bolts out and pretty corroded in there all bolts housing etc... properly cleaned up NEW thermostat in place. NEW Washer Jet Pump fitted. Last one to look in to is...

Its with my Rangey specialist friend... He is trying to source an ABS pump (RTC 6889) I think... with no joy. Whole thing makes a loud whine noise for 5 mins with ABS and brake lights remainining on then it will go off along with the light. Then it will fire up every few mins but the lights...

OK thanks for this... I can't see anything like the P38 Black cylinder looking accumulator anywhere on the ABS... it does have a valve with a rubber cover on it which spits out a small amount of fluid if you loosend it off slightly. I will see what I can find out and maybe take a pic or 2 to help.

I have the normal error on my 91 RR 3.9 where it has BRAKE and ABS red lights on until you go about 10mph and they go away. The noisy little pump sound form bulkhead when I start up is the norm and used to it... Started it up yesterday but was not listening as was dodging around the engine bay...
