Anyone Seen these Powerspark Dizzys kits done by Simonbbc ? £100 for the dizzy Lucas Coil and 3 to2 pin convertor as a bundle.... not seen much write up of them but any reviews I found are all good...

Did the suckometer test :) engine does indeed suck like a vegas hooked but when I take the plenum end off and suck it sucks like a straw and you can blow and no movement in the dizzy at all... Happy to get either just the VAC advance or can pick up a dizzy and spend the extra dosh now... Seen...

Hi, Recently had the 3.9 EFI RR fail MOT due to HC and CO emissisons. Took it to a guy who specialises in tuning and he adjusted the Dizzy and MAF in tandem with each other while on the emissions machine... Got it to about 1/2 the limit to pass MOT which was good all in about 30mins. It now...

MOT Retest passed with flying colors.... CO Max 3.50 actual 2.42 HC Max 1200 actual 542 Bosh! Another year... now just to get the Polybushes all in and heavyweight Rear arms

All sorted.... He said ! Adjustment on the airflow meter & dizzy timing was way out. Good run and print outs showing it running leaner now. Drives smooth and may get a bit of mpg boost. !

Its has a new Stainless exhaust system properly fitted. Will look for the Lucas stuff and give it a good blast out before the MOT... problem is you can't pre check easily unless you have the kit to do it which I don't.

Plugs Filter and Oil all done in last 300 miles... proper NGK expensive jobs from a friend, Filter is the K&N Red one which fits in the std trumpet. Oil done about 1 month ago and about 300 miles if that done on it. Cheers
