Finally managed to get the EGR off my disco 1. Duck Oil didn't help so I ended up grinding the top off the EGR assembly to get to the bolts. Once off, all went smoothly. Engine seems to run quieter and smoother now. Next step is the de-cat. Just have to order the down pipe for my disco and get...

Tried to get the EGR bolts loose on my 95 Disco 1 300Tdi. Despite soaking the bolts in WD40 for the last 4 days they just won't shift. Argh.... :confused:

Did a quick service on the 300 tdi, oil and filters. Oh yes, replace the glow plugs, starts better when it's cold now.
