The vibration could be mis-matched tyres, or prop shaft bearings, My guess is tyres for most vibration problems.

I've been using 250ml to every tank full in my 2006 TD4 for well over a year now. You will find the engine runs smother, quieter, and a lot more torque. You won't notice much difference until about your 3rd tank full also no black smoke. Then sit back and enjoy.
