    finished the engine mounts today - ive posted a video for anyone thats interested as its easier to get than a picture - i couldn't get the o/s on the original mount so i made a bracket to relocate it not the neatest job but it should do for now i've had to remove the turbo to get the engine...

    might have to do it that way then, i'll pull the turbo off and see how it sits in the original position 1st - would be better if i dint have to get new props yet

    tried to fit the engine tonight but the turbo oulet fouls the bulkhead - im going to try again later in the week without the turbo on it must be a 6 cylinder thing - i can't see a way of moving the gearbox forward - i thought at 1st i could but i think the chassis are different between the 4...

    split the gearbox and removed the 6 cyl bellhousing today - all looks good so far, but i'm waiting for the new seals and gaskets to arrive before i assemble it back up also as i was told the clutch plate from the 6 cyl fits into the 300tdi - even managed to use the gearbox input shaft as a...

    thanks made a start on pulling the engine out - stopped over after work, i was planning on stopping until it was out but i forgot i'd promised to take the missus out tonight all being well engine will be out tomorrow
