I've drilled a small (3mm) hole in the lowest spot in the well which lets any water out now, just wondered if others have suffered with this? can't see where it gets in, the carpets are always dry, only the well that has water in it.

The gaskets arrived (sump, oil pickup) and while I was at it I replaced both front and rear crank seals. Flywheel bolts are different on the manual (Vauxhall) so the original ones were re-used, says in the manual new should be fitted but they are only Loctited, so clean the threads and re-apply...

I don't know how dificult it is to bleed a p38, wouldn't have thought it will be too bad, get someone to pump the peddal for you, even easier! If you strip and rebuild the caliper you'll know it not going to give you any trouble for a good long while and it's nice to know the brakes are spot on.
