Yup, No ABS for me either, The more electrical crap you have on a freelander the more there is to break and go wrong. Its recommended that you go for the more basic models if you dont want to be spending a fortune on repairs.

Dont have it on mine, I avoided it, just another thing to break.

Make sure you come off the brakes before you go down a gear or it will maek you stals and send you down the hill like a bobsley like it did for me this morning :doh:

if you tried to open the boot in the snow and found that the window was frozen closed it will cause the beep, you need to unstick the rear door, open it and close it again and you wont get a beep, the beep means something is not closed properly.

yeah that will do, That is similar to how mine is, i get it back tonight but with no Prop shaft so its just FWD until the new prop shaft arrives.

Possibly, My freelander is currently only 2wd so it depends if the Prop Shaft arrives before Friday or not, If it does then fine. Otherwise it wont be getting sorted until after the new year :( (oh yeah, that blown wheel bearing problem has gone very out of proportion)

My hands are up, Driving on saturday and this loud whining sound starts from the front, speed dependant, take it back to the garage i bought it from and the wheel bearing is gone, They replace the bearing today and go for a test drive and *BANG* there goes the prop shaft. So now i have to wait...

the dizzy sits 3 inches to the right of the oil port, Very easy to spill over the edge onto it.

i had whining, took it in today, turned out to be a wheel bearing.

Also, How old where the little bastards?
