If i get a electric fan will i be ok wiring it straight from the battery on a switch?

Just had a look, im not really going near there tomorrow anyway. In the meantime, has anybody else got anything?

I dont think a viscous fan will be up for the job as its the 200disco engine which sits quite far away from the rad. Ok ill just keep my eye on the gauge, when i go to pay and play days in heavy mud the gauge goes into the red quite a bit, is that ok to a certain degree?

The cooling fan on my 90 hasn't worked since ive had it and the other day it popped my rad because some cowboy put cable ties through it to hold it on... Anyway ive taken it off now, does it really matter if i leave it off? It doesnt seem to over heat but is it likely to if im going very slow in...

It doesnt have to be that high, he will make it to any hight for ya but as it is on mine theres enough room under it for couple of spotlights and plenty for winch :)

Thats what i did, there was 2 n half threads showing so when i tightened it back up to roughly the same then the pin holes lined up... Ive done about 4 hours driving since and it seems fine. I discovered my breather pipe was blocked where it screws in so this must have been the cause of the leak.

Do you know if i can find out what year it is?

I put the bar in this gap... .... Then pushed the 90 backwards and it did the trick :) ive tightened it up fairly tight now
