Right turned out there problem was a collapsed oil pipe and that was building up the pressure, but due to how long they left it they had completely screwed the turbo too. ;) hope that helps some one! Thanks for all the help Wappy

Well thanks nicedayforit, soon as i pulled the sleeve off it was obvious that was the problem and tbh i think the previous owner had a go it was a right mess and all the wires were fastened in by a screw terminal wrapped in insulating tape (yellow and green) not something i think land rover do...

Just been to see about a gaket and im now totally confused as i was told it would need re scimming? other wise there would be no point in replacing them? so again im totally confused lol nothing new there then. lol
