Just sold a manual 2.5 for a later model. Had the 2.5 for three years, and with an electric fan mpg varied from 22-33mpg. lowest figure at 80-85 mph motorway use, highest figure at lower speeds with a light foot. Great car, just make sure it's a good one!

Don't know if it's relevant, but we have a disco in the Gambia where the parts prices are similar to here, but the labour is buttons. Only thing I do myself is the oil and filter change. Some of the oils they use are not the best.
