You dont need one unless your gonna fitt a steering guard m8 , there like that for LHD fittment , so dont worry about it :) .

Well 620kgs of scrap steel dont like going over 25mph in the back of my 90 !!! - tends to wander quite badly ......... :eek: :eek: but such a smooth ride tho for the 10 mins drive to the scrappy :)

At first thoughts I thought it was the Vac pump ( common for ticking on the 300 when there worn ) , but the sound going when the clutch is depressed !!!!! - at a wild guess it could be a clutch fault ( broken damper spring ?? ) .

That would explain it then lol , unitised just like a transit ... - takes all the fun out of changing bearings .

Thats a big lump u got in there - bet it pulls a house down :) , more horsepower in a strimmer but torquey as ya like . Mainly used in marine applications tho . If you dont mind going slow everywhere and your happy with it then Id leave it in as service parts are still available for em .

Good point there bud , forgot about them different axles :doh: , but even so thats a bit steep for whats needed i think .

Why buy a hub ??? , just buy the bearings .......

After the starter solonoid failed on me when I stopped off at the garage on the way home ( just clicks ) . Got her home by bridging the terminals to start her , I thought sod changing the whole thing I'll just do the solonoid in situ . Easy enough , changed it for one of my spares - half...

I got my money on tappet slide leg , if you take the head off and there all fine then i bet its been sat in the cam gallery for a while ( someone else put a new one in and couldnt find that bit ) .
