    Just becareful with your multi meter when measuring current it’s very easy to fry the thing, make sure when you measure the ignition is off and the keys out, doors shut, no lights on both internal and external no radio one, everything you can think off.

    I struggled for hours with a nut on a trailer wheel. Trailer manual said they should been torqued up to 110nm tried all sorts to get it off no joy, went and bought a Lidl impact driver £39.99, 15 minute later it was off.

    Have you managed to get the filler cap off. It might spring back. Happened to me on the boat once, 5 miles off sore, engine just died. Looked at the fuel tank and it was wrinkled like a prune. Unscrewed the car air rushed back in most of the wrinkles popped back out.

    You might want to rivet them back on once there off. the panels might to a mess under them and need sprayed anyway. Have you thought about spraying the plate body coloured to blend them in.

    Sounds like the in the lock are stuck at the shear line, I would try spraying gt85 into the lock and try zipping the key in aload if times to see if they fall back into place.

    Microwave depending on brand can pull up to 4 x power on start up I checked mine a few years ago and for the first few seconds it peaked at 11 amps at 240v.
