I tried forward and reverse. Just the front wheel spun. Rear wheels didnt move.

Ok ive no diff lock. But is there a reason why power was not going to the rear wheels.

No i only have the High and Low gear knob. No option for diff lock.

Quick question, If the three amigos are on and lets say you get bogged down in mud. Will the disco still operate in four wheel drive mode? Had the ball joints on mine replaced and the three amigos have been on ever since, waiting to get the lights reset with the software at the garage.

In the end i had to take off the manifold and drill the nuts out. Anybody attempting an EGR removal be prepared for the nuts to shear off on the cast iron manifold. Think of how many times they have heated up and cooled down.

I dont have a welding machine, i was going to get somebody to do it for me but sure i might aswell just get them to weld the blanking plate on instead of meesing about trying to free the sheard nuts.

So i bought my EGR blanking kit and the removal of the EGR and fitting of the straight through pipe went fine. However when i was removing the exhaust pipe coming from the manifold the two nuts holding it on sheared off. flush with the manifold housing. So basically i cannot fit the blanking...

This happens when my fuel reaches the 1/4 empty mark. Cuts out, black smoke, very hard to start... and the pump whines like mad. If i fill it up to the 1/2 or full mark all my problems disappear. The pressure of all the fuel in the tank pushes it through wherever it has to go and i can drive on...

Might just drain the system alright and change the coolant too. Is this the coolant drain plug for the system? I know there are two nuts on the engine block too for draining the system.
