Long story short. Replaced wheel hub with abs sensor already in place on disco 2. Have wire from old abs sensor coming from ecu under glove box into engine bay and need to join the two wires. Would stripping the wires down, wrapping them around each other and covering in electrical tape...

No the kit came with no boot.

Ok am replacing cv joint tomorrow on disco 2. The boot is intact so am wondering if i can take it off and re use it on the new cv joint? Another question, after you remove the wheel hub nut do you have to throw it away and replace it (as per rave) or can you re use that too?

Would a lot of 300 tdi parts fit a Disco 2 td5? Say exterior fittings, lights doors etc. What about brake discs, wheel hubs, fuel pumps?

They can. Check out my video of a jacked up Disco 2 TD5. The drivers wheel is scraping off the ground hence why its spinning slower than all the rest. All the rest are fully clear of the ground. Jacked up land rover - YouTube
