Hi I've got a Series 3 LWB Petrol 2.25 that I want to get converted to LPG (for obvious reasons). At the moment I have to add Lead addative as it hasn't been converted to unleaded. Does anyone know if I need to get it converted to unleaded before I can get it converted to LPG?:confused:

I found a 29 year old Series 3 LWB that had never been welded and still has no rust. engine had only done 24k so carb needed cleaning. After changing ignition parts etc.. and other old parts that wanted changing & getting a full lube/oil service it cost me £1800. Should out last me. Don't rush...

Interested yes. How much tread on them? Got an asking price etc...

Hello I've got a Series 3 LWB that needs new tyres. She's currently sporting 7.5/16's. I'm using her mainly for road use & some light off road. Any recommendations?

Is it possible to fit a rev counter to a series 3? I have no idea how hard the engine/gearbox is working and would like to know.

I've seen that some guys recommend just swopping the rear diff. How does this effect the vehicle in 4wd?

People Calm down!!:eek: I'm going to get a LR specialist to fit them if I decide that's the route I wish to take. All I wanted to know is that if by changing the diffs it would improve the road performance of my landy an drop the revs so I'm not putting so much strain on the gearbox.

OK, now very confused. I use the old girl as a daily drive to and from work mainly which is a 20 mile round trip. I can trundle along at 50 mpg but it sounds like the gearbox is working too hard & screaming! and I didn't want to put so much pressure on the gearbox. :confused:

Hi I want to increase the speed/fuel consumption of my S3 2.25 petrol 1982. I've been told I should replace the current diffs with 3.5's. I'm new to 4WD and have no idea what type/year of diffs I should be looking for. Can anyone help please:confused:

Hello I want to paint the leaf springs on my S3 as, although solid, look crap. Anyoneone got suggestions fir the best paint to use:confused:
