    Vibration at approx 1750 rpm?

That's the next one on my list to do. Have you had expericnace of this one causing vibration problems? Not sure if this is connected or not, but my car pulls to the left hand side. There is play in one track rod end and I am replacing that at the weekend. Interestingly enough, a guy on another...

    Freelander Polybush kit

I gather polybush kits are ok now? When i had my old Discovery i was going to treat it to a set of polybushes. I got a lot of bad feedback about them saying they made the ride harsher or something etc?

    Newbie Saying Hi

Hi Stewart Welcome. Didn't I just read about a faulty MAF sensor doing just this on this or another Land Rover forum? Maybe try unplugging it and see if it runs ok without it? I might have this wrong though?:o

    Vibration at approx 1750 rpm?

Its a parts diagram image? I can see it. Well i've been out under the car and been prying everything about. There is some movement in the mount number 14 without a doubt. But there is also some play in mount number 3 and the mount it attaches to. The amount of play is of a...

My Freelander has gone into the garage, guess the final cost?

Thanks. It looks like a pig of a job to replace this mount? I'd liek to remove and inspect it before ordering the new one due to the price of the thing. But dont like the idea of leaving the engine jacked up etc. Your idea of shimming the mount out with an old car mat is a good one. I'll...

    Vibration at approx 1750 rpm?

Wel the replacment mount was identical so I didn't bother taking any pictures. Not sure what mount has been modified but this was the lower tie rod. Hi MarkII Thanks mate any suggestions are welcomed. I'll check that out on sunday when I'm back under the car again!

My Freelander has gone into the garage, guess the final cost?

Hi Mate Well the new mounting may have not cured it but it was worn and was probably a contributing factor anyway. I keep telling myself that and the lost money isn't so painful then!;) :D The othe rmouint that appears worn when yanking the negine is about is the one below the battery tray...

My Freelander has gone into the garage, guess the final cost?

Thanks for the words of sumpathy/encouragement.:) Its frustrating and annoying, but no big deal really. We still like the car and just want to get it sorted out so we can enjoy it without the embarrassing vibration. I'm off to Stratstones at lunchtime to order up the next mount. I'll get there...

Anyone got the TU1 tuning box?

I'm thinking of getting one of these boxes as I have to collect a caravan from northern spain later on this year. I think the Freelander could you use some extra ponies to help tow the thing back across France. The one thing i dont like is it looks like youi have to splice into the loom to fit...

My Freelander has gone into the garage, guess the final cost?

Well i got the new lower mount, or tie rod as its called. The old one was looser than its replacment but not falling apart by any means. Anyway, replacing it made absolutely no difference what so ever. So now Ill go to the next suspect mount, which is the one sort of under the battery...

    Brake bleeding.

Thanks anyway I do have ahaynes manual at home and I've got an easy bleed and will use that. I think it just needs a little fluid let out the fronts. But I thought what the hell i may as renew the fluid. Then i recalled seeing a picture posted on here showing an unconventional bleed sequence...

    Brake bleeding.

Hi All I seem to recall reading on here that if you want to bleed the brakes on a Freelander they have a slightly different procedure to most other cars? Is that right? Many thanks
