    P38 newbie needs help !!!

The link below may be of some help, but the front end swap, in my opinion will never look like it does on a l322. For starters the wings don't match the body shape of a p38 and makes them look like cut n shut scrappers. http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f10/p38-front-lights-up-grade-39643.html

    P38 newbie needs help !!!

None of the parts fitted are compatible with each other. The lights are from the standard lm322 (with wipers) and are not the right ones to use with that bumper. The grille is wrong for the lights and the bumper. and the bumper is not right for the lights or grille. Your best bet would be to...

Diff problem really need some help

Having 20" wheels wont make any difference unless you have seriously oversized tyres fitted to them. Diffs on the p38 do suffer a little more than most and will require at least one replacement throughout the life of the motor. I'd say at 140k you're just about due the said replacement. My front...

    shaking steering

If it's only doing it at motorway speed, may be wheel balance needed, if it's bearings you should hear a droning noise at certain speeds too. Check wheels are balanced first and go from there, only costs about £5 a wheel.

    Getting ready

Could well be petrol if theres only a little in the tank it will deteriorate quicker than a full tank. I have a speed boat and fill it up before winterizing it and add a stabilizer to it. The first year i had it there was only about 2 gallons in the tank with no stabil and it was a bitch to start.

    What rangie to buy???

My thoughts exactly, that or a Hilux Surf Gen 3, i've had both and whilst they aint the most economical of forbys they run forever and very rarely go wrong. What you save on maintenance you can spend on fuel or beer!

    p38 on 22" alloys

To fit sport or L322 wheels to a P38 you will need spigot rings and the nuts from L322 or sport model. P38 nuts are too big (wide)Plenty of fitting kits on flebay too. As for not paying for them, well making comments like that on here, you got exactly what you asked for! Hope this helps.

Dash milometer LED/lighting & Coolant overflow pipe

If you're on about the instrument binnacle, it's an easy fix. Remove the lower fascia closing panel, undo 4 screws holding binnacle surround in place, remove binnacle, release fuel flap wiring harness, change bulb. Refit in reverse.

    ABS brake Booster pump

They are a sealed unit, the only way you will loose the gas is if you drill a hole in it. You don't need to worry about loosing gas as they are pre pressurised with nitrogen and this has nothing to do with the pump. When or if you get a replacement one it will be pressurised too.
