But I haven't got an ecu fault or any other fault. The fault I did have turned out to be a broken earth within the loom which I replaced for a new loom. Which I doubt a fault reader would have picked that up anyway. Not even my fluke picked it up and was showing correct readings on all tests.

I got the new loom off flee bay along with the ecu. it was second hand.

At last it's all sorted. and she runs as sweet as a nut, All it turned out to be in the end was the efi loom. Just got to finish tidying up the wiiring and putting the inside back together and she'll be back on the road.

Update, I changed my loom and ecu today and the old girl fired into life, albeit a bit rough as the timming is way out after I changed the dizzy so need to get that sorted. Still I got there in the end. I've now got a load of spare parts, lol. Thank you to everone who shared there knowlage.

what exhaust down pipe are you using? I've fitted the cats on mine and ive noticed that where the loom gos into the chassis is right up against the cat on the drivers side, so i'm either going to have to get a different exhaust or try and move the loom some how.
