Cleaned clutch fluid off the drive... Slave cylinder went pop yesterday morning.

Hi All Just got my first Landy - 1983 110 V8 CSW The gearbox needs replacing, it drives OK but is pretty unbearble noise wise, sounds like a bag of spanners in a tumble drier. It's an LT95 4 speed, I want to do a straight replacement, however I want to make it a bit leggier in the process...
