well i have 265/75 mt's on my 90 which is standard and have no problems.

If you do it like that, it should work for all sites, if you want to put a fancy title though, then it becomes more technical.

Yeah good point, i do have a clear fuel line already, but i have not looked really if there is clean fuel though, and the filter is certainly not new :o but there is only a puff of smokes when starts, other wise there is'nt any once running.

No, its not like that, just will not give anymore, it dont use water at all just a little oil as it burns some and leaks abit (but dont most of them) the turbo sounds ok. Im not an engineer but know quite a bit on engines, i hope its just not worn. :confused:

Yeah im am talking about a nice flat road such as the A1, i just put my foot right down and its sounds normal to me, (alot of revs) then gets to 75mph and has nothing more to give, it has no problems building speed up to 60 with the foot right down, then wait maybe 30 seconds and it picks speed...

True, very true, i can understand that because the army use thin tyres, but there can be very deep mud sometimes and what about lose sufaces and stuff like wet grass where you just spin? I say go for inbetween. :D

It has BFG mt's 265/75, and i do know the engine does leak a bit of oil around the bottom of the breather near the top of the cylinder head, but i thought with the 200tdi they were known to leak oil from the front of the engine, could this be a factor?

From general physics, the fatter the tyre, the more surface area, so less chance of sinking and more area for grip. :D

would this mean that the engine is losing power?

Yes, finally found it, such an awkward place, with the exhuast in the way, it starts with 22, so it is a 1.4 t/box :confused:

The only number i could find was RC 5415 if thats any help?
