    2.25 petrol any good

Having had both diesel and petrol series vehicles I can honestly say the difference in mpg is negligible to the point of not noticing it at all. As said in this post and others they are that little bit quicker of the mark and are definitely allot quieter I can onestly say they are the nicer of...

    MOT Fail...P38

The lambda reading on the emissions test has nothing to do with the lambda censors in the exhaust system if the censors were wrong then it would through out the HC & CO readings if the engine is running correct within its limits and both HC and CO reading are in-line then the only explanation is...

    MOT Fail...P38

:DHi I agree with the other lads ideas on 1 & 2, as for three if youre co limit and hc limit are corect then your exhaust is sucking air in this happened to me on the last MOT my centre box was like Swiss cheese on top where you could not see so sucking air in and throwing out the lambda...

    power steering

:D:DLooks good and easy to do but at £1200 odd per kit I think I wouldn't bother, the choice between 1200 and a little bit of work or about 200 odd for all the bits and a fair bit of work I personally, if I had the time and money would go for the P38 relay road as in my previous post although I...

    power steering

:D:DYes and this Converting a series Land Rover to power steering is about the best idea I have seen although I would probably use a Defender column instead of chopping up a series one. ;);)Hope this helps, but it did make for very interesting reading:):)

    Single to double rear exhaust

According to rave the only difference is from the centre box back ie swap single exit pipe for pipe with t piece and twin exit tails. As clarkie says the bumber will need changing as-well unless you want to cut yours to fit.

    Brakes

As far as I can think at this time of night and after a few pints the answer is no as the back side of the wheel cylinders poke through the brake back plate so the bleed nipples and the brake pipe union can be easily accessed

    P38 Tail gate straps

As said above, I got mine from Island 4x4 last year as-well, the reason they rust out is when the tailgate is shut they are sat right where the water is channelled off of the roof. I now do the same as dogsbody, check and grease them regularly. I have had no problems since.

P38 DSE ...how to get 39mpg

:doh:How can it be ? Its a pointless experiment in the first place as we all know if you reduce the weight of a propelled object it will take less energy to move it . :hysterically_laughiAs for this statement it is really laughable, the bit I wrote about the polo was written in jest, but...
