Can be overpriced though? I used to have a scimitar and noticed someone paid £600 odd for a pair of alloy rocker covers when he could have bought new for £250 ish I'm after a series 1 pickup that may be for sale but not sure what to offer

I belong to another forum [not landys] that are just getting into roller painting. I can see the advantage for a landy as it's all flat panel but what about the quality of finish. Anyone tried Rust-oleum? I'm thinking of using Tekaloid - i believe it is the best quality brush/roller paint...

Where can one get a good idea of value for the series landys? ebay is a fair guide but where else. Prices seem to vary considerably. I'd rather get one for restoration and spend more over a period of time than pay more and find a lot poorly done.

You could make it up with that other type of board that just has horizontal strips. Sorry when i said it could be made for a £1. I was thinking of the cost of the connections... resistors i can scrounge and the enclosure box probably costs £4/5. I'll be making one for each car when i get round...

Well found... that is a clearer diagram than mine and full set of instructions. I've seen that before come to think of it. The only problem is trying to get the bits hence why Maplin offer it all as a made up set although you've got to get the box to enclose it. Let us know if you can get the...
