i rang up the company 4 tech who said that system on a 4 litre will not work due to back firing, so would it be best to swap the engine over and keep my 3.9 injection system due to the immobilisers on each vehicle? Peter

no as i diddnt put them on, they are different heads so im told but im thinking the issue now is that the head gasket on the left side looking at the front of the car as a lot of vapour is comming out but the coolant level seemed to stay put

the problem is i cant see where its comming from, it seems to have stopped for now but appears to be going into the piston and comming out the left exhaust as vapour so it must be a gasket problem i think

i nearly had it but the high pressure fitting on the back of the pump started ****ing out due to it having the wrong washer set up on it, can anyone tell me what its supposed to have on it as the workshop manual doesnt show anything?

im 19 and im the policy holder on my 200tdi 90 renewal cost is £500 for next month, last year it was £1500 then dropped to £500 with 1 years no claims

basically if you have the flywheel re pegged you will be able to use the standard 200tdi clutch plate and clutch housing, ive dcided that since im at a good stage in my rebuild that im currently looking at putting a v8 into my 200tdi 90 so i will be hopfully doing this too
