mine is an early 2a gearbox 1962 i think i know the bit that will need to be trimmed, not a major task

Hi all whats the best gearbox to use in my v6 88 s2a? ive got the old s2a box which is in need of a rebuild but i have a good s3 box in the workshop, whats needed to swap the s3 box into it? does the bulkhead need modifying? Thanks Pete

yeah its on a 1962 series 2a im just trying to decide if its worth converting to coils or not to bother, its a lot of work but im not sure if the benefits outweigh the time involved in the build

Could i not just raise the engine up to clear the mount? id rather leave them where they are incase i ever want to fit the original engine
