I had the same issue. Ended up getting a proper puller, I put it under tension hit it a few times with a hammer and then left it over night - still under tension. In the morning, wallah job done, it had popped off.

A little tip when drilling out old bushes...

When you are changing bushes and don't have access to a heavy press, and have to drill the old bushes out, use a masonry drill bit rather than a metal/wood bit as it is far more effective. Jasper

Braided brake lines and Making my own brake lines

I mean buy the ready made braided one and then make up the copper bits. Yeah the ones I've looked for land rover specific are twice the price of most other ones. I knew the length may be different but I was surprised with the different. So if two different ones were the same length, it would...

Braided brake lines and Making my own brake lines

I am planning to replace all the copper brake lines. I figured it is going to be cheaper to buy the pipe and bits and then flare it myself. So I was wondering whether anyone has any experience with using the flaring tools you can get off ebay for around 30 quid? Are they half decent or would...

    Nut + Bolt size guide

Does anyone have a guide to the sizes and thread type of each bolt and corresponding nut for the chassis of a land rover 90? It's because I am rebuilding mine and am in need of pretty much every nut and bolt. And I'd like to buy each one from a wholesaler as it should work out cheaper. But...
