Hi all, Just a quick question about tyres... I noticed that my Freelander's tyres don't all match. On the front are Kumho Solus 215/65/R16. The rear has Goodyear Wrangler 215/65/R16. I understand that the tyres need to match left and right but do they have to be identical front to rear also...

I'm surprised that so few people own the Freelander 1, V6 although I saw a youtube video review recently and it mentioned that the V6 was auto "as standard". Is this the case? If so - perhaps this could account for why so few people own them. Personally though - I love autos ;-) Andy.

Thanks for that - Initially I had thought hard tops would be very expensive as I had seen a few soft ones going for over £200 - Maybe I should sell my soft top now as I don't think I'll be refitting it ;-) Andy.

UPDATE... I have just come back from a local 4x4 breaker (Equicar 4x4, Coseley) and having parted with £65 was able to get myself a hard top and an antenna (to replace mine that was broken). But... The story gets even better... I had gone there with the intention of folding my rear seats down...

UPDATE... Ok - I managed to get a hard top for £59 from ebay. I'll have a go at fitting it this weekend - wish me luck ;-)
