    might be worth just taking round a good tyre shoppy and asking, last time i had my old trailer in for new tyres they put tubless tyres on the old wheels which had tubes in before. they havent gone flat yet!! :D

    Ring lamps are dead cheap too. i ended up fitting one of them illuminated switches as i kept driving about with the work lamp on!! now i've got a big glowing red switch to remind me to turn the bastard off!! this is the actual size!!! :smokin: only 1.99 from maplins....

    i'm just guessing here, but would it be possible to dismantle the 80" speedo dial and fit the mechanism out of the defender one?? i've had dials apart before, not speedo's though, they are a bit of a fiddle but they do come apart!!

    Evening! just a quick question, i've doing a bit of re-wiring in a series 2a, it has been fitted with and alternator in the past but currently retains the voltage regulator. Am i right in thinking that the voltage regulator is now redundant? I'd like to take it out as i'm trying to tidy up...

    i've managed to get a fair bit done over the weekend, made a start at removing the tubs on me lightweight and 2a so i can swap the roll bar from one to the other. discombobulated a fair bit of the lightwieght as well... .....until in angle grinded the tip of me finger...... :doh:
