no problem, will get a pic tonight guys as my bulkhead bolts have arrived just now, the only brackets sent with bars are two 8" lengths of 6mm flat bar (seen at top of pic)

got a crackingly well made pair of sill bars from mill services for my 88" I have etch primed and painted them (they were galv) and also managed to replace bulkhead outrigger bolts that the front of the sills attach too (blood sweat and tears!) I'm after some tips or pictures how the petrol...

plenty of room to unbolt the blower feet from footwell and lift entire assembly out...minus some knuckle skin :) alternatively take the air intake grill off to release the squirrel cage circlip. it won't fully withdraw with this method as it is wired to resistors in the snail shell

wanting to tune my carb the old vac way but reading some info the vac advance tube on the base of the weber 34ich is not the place to put it. my inlet manifold had a blanking plug which I can adapt, anyone know the thread size/pitch? I guess it's blanked off unless you have servo assisted...

defender ones usually bolt at the bulkhead to chassis bolt up front and then a slide tube for fuel tank outrigger, series is usually same up front but not sure what they bolt to at the rear

mill services ones come with brackets, are your ones chief? I'm looking to paint mine anyway so not worried about Galv too much

just finished painting my landy, rubbed it down and then applied two coats of this with a roller: sanded with 600 grit between coats to get this: so should I seal it now with a clear coat? what's best? do I polish paint first?

are the britpart relays an ok replacement chaps - or do they carry "blue box syndrome"

my guess is the cable running to the started motor is finding ground at the back of the engine, heating up old oil which is coming through gear stick.. Get a multimeter and check the starter motor side of the starter solenoid to ground...shouldn't get a low reading or zero.

if its a petty try advancing distributor a tadge (turn it clockwise)...retarded engines take a bit to start (ask me how I know!)
