Hi all, getting to stage deciding wether to convert my bottom up 200tdi rebuild into a series conversion (adapt bell housing and block off turbo oils, fit n/a exhaust manifold) or leave it as a disco engine. which one would sell the easiest though?

about to rebuild mine now it's stripped and painted, what rtv/hylomar did you use on ladder to block mating surface please?

I'll get measuring then, got a single standard ring coming so I can put it in bore top middle and bottom to measure gaps, hopefully all standard if not I'll be looking at a poss rebore, the bores were quite glazed, hence my reason for honing: The Pistons that came out had no friction...

Thanks Lynall, I just glaze busted them at home myself, I haven't started measuring yet but would prefer not to buy Pistons if I don't have too :) can you find any reference to the numbers I pictured at all? muchos for the reply
