Because the car isn't OBD compliant. Your scanner could be picking up a signal from the car and interpreting it as a speed sensor fault, maybe coincidence that its come up with something remotely similar !

My manual would pull off really well, no power box fitted, I never bothered with getting a power box as just dawdled around without bothering to go fast, I didn't like the autos I test drove but that may just be because it felt strange having never driven auto before

I saw a set ( the only set iv ever seen ) on eBay a while ago, that were 6 or 8 spoke and looked like split rims with bolt heads between the spokes, they were listed as original land rover, they were really nice

I agree whole heartedly, I am also only 27 so have plenty of time ( I hope ) , my wife has family in the USA, but USA is in a worse state than the Uk.

If I didn't have my wife and boy I'd seriously consider leaving, Australia seems like a nice place and I would like the wilderness etc, but I can't see why people put it on their bucket list etc

So what ya still doing here? Could try Singapore too, or Canada , not sure I would bother with Africa or South America, I've never seen the fascination with Australia though

I didn't like the autos, I thought the manual is better, but as has been said strong leg and lots of revs required, the diesel has a strange throttle too , very looong.....

Best fuel economiser to get would be a lighter right foot

There's a pre flush you have to do, and you have to get every drop of water/ glycol out, that stuff is expensive, and personally don't think it's worth it over regular antifreeze
