any one got pictures of when they done there head gasket or head change on there engine just so i can have a look cheers

Been losing a bit of water from the tank could I be losing it because of engine boiling it off as I was not putting coolant in with it only water i know it could also be head just wondering if anyone heard of it

mine decided to fu*k me over on way home last night now time to start ripping engine out and rebuild

The engine was still running as it happened on motorway I pulled over and checked then turned it off all of about 30 to 40 seconds only battery light came on when it was still running and temp did not boil over once it was stopped it was not started till belt put on

not yet still on the case shall let you know

Would it have a sensor on the adjuster though I know that when the belt went engine was still running and only the battery light came on as it would cause the autonator was not charging battery and battery light is not on now or flickering I can have a check

Having a problem with a freelander with the L-series diesel, When holding the revs below 2.5k for more than about 10 seconds the engine light illuminates, yet when you rev above 2.5k or drop the revs completely the light will go out until you hold them again..... No loss of power, no funny...

driving home to night i noticed that the car was slowing down like the breaks were on and when i tryed to accelerate there was no joy it still slowed down as soon as i knocked it out of gear it reved fine and rolled ok only seams to happen when driving and in any gear it a 98 l series diesel any...
