Hi all, I really want to trace the history of my vehicle as i have no docs. Its obviously a 24v 109 FFR but where has it been? Lots of sand in it and it was once sand coloured! Where should i start? J.

SOLVED: Mine is an ex MOD FFR, it's a high current circuit that switch the normal lights over to infra-red ones. Apparently it was notorious for failure and apparently mine failed on saturday. I wired it back together but needless to say i wont be touching it again... Back on the subject of...

I think its safe to say it malfunctioned.

I traced the cable. It comes from the headlights normal switch, to a shared earth on the bulkhead as well as out of the bulkhead onto another earthing point in the engine bay. I checked the convoy switch and it works fine, I dare not touch the other now. Have rewired.

What would have caused the short? Is this likely to happen again?
