Nail on the head, purely for looks. 4x4's are chunky and should be high in the air. I bought the 'sport' model as at the time it was the best car available to buy within a reasonable distance to me and I liked the way it drove.

With the sport models being approx 20mm lower than the none sport varients, would they be ok with a 50mm lift kit or would 40mm still be the max without lots of extra modifications?

Well what can I say? Austen replaced my VCU yesterday and it feels like a totally different car :) So smooth to drive and on the way home felt more responsive, wish I'd done it earlier lol. Cheers Austen :)

Having the VCU and bearings replaced at Bell Engineering tomorrow. I've been meaning to do it for a while and just not got round to it and now it occasionally gives a vibration between the seats when driving very tight corners.

Car passed the MoT today, good job as it expired a week ago. They had to take it for a blast to get the emissions to pass though and they said it was misfiring slightly. I've noticed it running lumpy first thing in the morning but once it warms up it's fine.

Why will they melt the plastic? They run cooler than the standard bulbs.
