Here`s a little tip you might find useful. Instead of grinding or cutting away at the seat box, DOUBLE UP THE GASKET at the bottom of the heater this will give you an extra 6mm clearence in height. Eberspacher has confirmed this is fine but you are not to use any more than 2 gaskets! :)

Remove it or shave down the nylon washer to allow full movement of fuel pin?

I am trying to find an 82 degree thermostat for my defender 200 tdi but can only find 88 degrees, anyone know where I could get hold of one or whether the V8 or any other engine uses the same size thermostat. Cheers

Anyone know if the 2.5 n/a diesel uses the same water temp gauge as the 200tdi?

Anyone know where I can get a heated fuel filter kit from? One that heats the filter up before engine is started then engine coolant keeps it hot whilst running.

Sounds good so thats the same as a defender shroud then? I actually found my 2.5 n/a viscous fan fits the 200 tdi but do you know if the fan is the same diameter as the standard disco or defender 200tdi? :)

Got me engine swap from a 2.5 n/a to a defender 200tdi engine done this weekend, went really well but I havent got a fan/coupling or shroud. Is the Disco fan and coupling the same as the Defender? I think the Disco shroud would be too big? I still have my original 2.5n/a fan and shroud maybe...

Ok got me a 200tdi defender engine but the bellhousing has a few missing bolts so I will need to use some of the bolts of the 2.5 n/a bellhousing. Whats the best way of removing these bolts without damaging the threads?

Anyone know of the top of their heads what the internal fuel pipe diameter is for the 200tdi defender engine?

Need to fit some more bench seats in the rear of my 110. I got 1 standard exmoor trim bench seat in the back which isnt that comfy but am wondering if the wolf versions are any better. Ive been looking at the Trakkers web site Load Area Seats Anyone tried them?

Need to replace my fuel lines, will standard rubber diesel hose be ok or should I go to land rover and order the original lines with fittings (not sure how much that would all cost!!)

Ok that looks good, just leaves me with the exhaust then. Would that be a 200 tdi discovery exhaust conversion kit? or can I not just replace my original exhaust with a new 200 tdi exhaust?
