What ****ed as in buy a new heater ****ed?

The guy I bought my landy from fitted a new heater which works as it should except when I move the lever to the cold position it stops the air flowing from the vents inside and the blower motor is put under strain. Any ideas why?

Ok I read up some more and this is what I will do: Take off the new type stake nut and big washer behind it, take out the outer bearing, and remove the spacer behind it, discard spacer. Bearing back in, fit thick washer/lockwashers and double nuts to the old spec, tighten to the correct...

Had a look at my mates 90 300tdi and he has a bracket welded to the chassis for his intermediate exhaust so I guess its got to be from a 110.

Been reading up and seems my td5 rear axle I fitted to my 110 200tdi has the new style bearings which are a pain!!! I want the original style bearings back with the 2 hub nuts that I can adjust and replace easily. How do I change back to the original style? Are 300tdi stub axles the same as...

I fitted a 100 amp alternator from frogs island to my 110 a few years ago and was forever snapping belts. I could smell the belt burning before it would snap. My fuel pump/boost were tweaked and I had 3 optimas. It was a nightmare so I now run a 65 amp with 3 batterys the usual engine tweaks...

Been trying to find this part which is a 200tdi intermediate exhaust bracket for the 110 (the one attatched to the gearbox) but it has been discontinued and I cant find one anywhere. Any one know if there is another part number I can use?

I have done this conversion now, it wasn`t straight forward. If anyone wants to do this rather than fitting a discovery axle here is what i did. First problem was the a-frame fulcrum (the part the ball joint is pressed into) was out of line with the new axle didnt realise land rover changed this...

Just bought a rear axle from a 2006 110 td5 defender and want to swap this with my drum braked salisbury axle on my 1993 200tdi 110 defender. I got a FTC4198 PROPSHAFT HEAVY DUTY REAR that I hope will be the right fit and have the original dampers with the td5 axle (not sure if this matters)...
