Hi all, i'm still here getting more and more mad about this sodding abs system on my '92 classic. Right, the story so far: had new disks, calipers and pads, went to bleed system... Abs pump packed up :doh: found a replacement working pump after a month of searching, fitted it, went to bleed...

ive got a knackered pump, god only knows what the pressure switch is like, after all it did come off my cursed range rover (4months and 10litres of brake fluid later and it still doesn't work) :violin:

Cheers for the diagram, but the only connection on mine is simply a three pin plug trailing off the seat, the rest is all self contained

the pump was renumbered countless times, ive found that upto chassis no. KA, the part number should be STC885, thats what mine was, but ive replaced it with a different pump from a GA chassis, and it seems to work fine.... until my master cylinder seized! Your best bet is to scrap the ABS...

hello, i need to speak to you about my braking system on my 92 vogue efi. here goes: I've replaced my abs pump and fully bled the system, the pump powers up and pressurises then cuts out when its fully charged, but now the calipers are now stuck on. I think its a problem with the power circuit...

i got the pump and now the brakes work well.... but now the damn things wont come off!!! :doh:

I've got a '92 vogue efi, and I'm after a new (2nd hand) abs pump and I'm wondering if the colour of the multi socket has any importance. The ones I've found for sale all have black plugs, whereas mine is blue... Are they interchangeable? Or do I have to find one that matches? Please help!!!

I've been told that the pump needs to work to be able to bleed the full system, and when this fails it shuts down part of the modulator as a failsafe... Infernal machine!
