Etch primer u can just buy Upol stuff in an aerosol from most motor places, just helps the paint stick to the bare metal to stop it flaking off. Don't need to sand it, as it only goes on very thin, then you go over with Hi-build... That is if you want a really good finish, and with the Hi-build...

What sort o miles it done? What needs doing to it?

Is it an easy job to do then? Or do you have to butcher the chassis?

He didn't have the bits coz he was stuck up north, and didn't have time to go home to get em, but he gave me the part numbers that I needed and hooked her up to the diagnostic gear... Only fault was the temp sensor! I was amazed!

yer, seems like a nice chap too, felt sorry for him, he was meant to come to mine at lunch-time after seeing a chap in doncaster, but got stuck in scotland the night before and didnt get to me till 7.30pm and still had to go to donny!

all sorted, turned out to be a Coolant temp sensor, think it was £35 +vat from landrover. Thanks to Stuart from armson for having a gander and hooking her up to the diagnostic gear. Also put on a shiny new dizzy cap and rotor arm and now she purrs like a pussy cat! :D

hi all and a happy new year! Im having some issues with my 92 v8, she'll start and run fine, but then after a short while the engine will cut out while the engine is under load. after this she WILL NOT start again, until after 15/20 mins or so then she'll start again fine but cut out shortly...
