I had the same problem on my disco 2, repaced slave and master cylinder which made no difference, Turned out that the brand new clutch kit was faulty:mad::mad::mad: Guy i bought the kit off had had a few kits returned with exactly the same problem. New jit supplied and all working great now...

there are 2 hot air blower pipes that run under the cubby box so it could be these making it hot?? Dont know about the ignition barrel But mine is getting difficult to get the key in as well, not all the time, so will be interested to know how you get on. Brian

To be honest if it was oil in the harness it would happen all the time. There's supposed to be a new version of the Nanocomm coming out soon, The original one cost me £200 about 6 months ago and is well worth the money. They occasionally crop up on ebay from about £150 up over. Where abouts...

If its running ok around town id be looking at the wastgate modulator as David mentions above. Brian

No defo not, as biglad mentions it does have that filter at the base on the windscreen, Mine is is just about all rotted out. Does anyone know the part number for that filter?? Brian

No cat and EGR valve removed, and i reackon i get aboit 30 - 34 mpg and im fairly heavy on the right foot :o

I was thinking of doing this as well but I worked out that by the time i got all the bits from scrapyards/ebay and spent a load of time fitting it that it woud be easier to just sell the car and get another one with aircon :( Brian

Sorry if im hijacking the thread a little but im tempted now that there is not a head blowing issue as such. Are there different types of map?? Ie max power or better fuel economy What would i be looking for if i wanted better acceleration, not bothered about all out speed...it is a landy...
