HI, OK, How do i change the top door hinges, as from looking at the car, the back of the hinge bolts that go into the bulkhead, are going to be impossible to get too, without cutting a big hole in the bulkhead :) How are the hinges meant to be changed? Thanks, Biosbill

Hi, Ordered some "series" mirrors from paddocks last week, just got them and they dont fit my Series 3, the bolts are to close togethoer on the hinges. When ordered from paddocks they were sold as "Door Mirror Complete Assembly--SERIES" but they dont fit mine at all, and on closer inspection...

Hi, Just read this post, think ive got the same problem, but when changing up from 1st to 2nd. I suspect the gearbox has had or got some bloody GL5 in it. So i guess its likely that the syncro's are knackred. Is there anything thats getting damaged? How hard is it to replace syncoro's...

Any ideas about the Water Temp Gauge on a Series 3? Bought car a few weeks back, (pictured under olive drab-V Nive!) just finishing the wiring. Finished the Temp gauge, so positive goes from the engine block, to positive on the gauge, and negative on both go to earth (vehicle is neg earth)...

Hi, New to Series Land Rovers, just got a Series III 88", but wondering why the clutch is jumpy at low speed. When pulling away the landy jurks, and doesnt drive off smoothy. Just my driving (and not being used to the 73 gearbox) or knackered clutch?? Thanks for you help, William

Hi again, Thanks for your fast reply, that seems to have answered my queries! I guess its unlikely for anything to enter the exhaust then, ill just have to check the axles/gearbox/Diff breathers, and make sure nothing enters the air intake! Thanks again, Biosbill
