    Wiring Breakthrough??

Having been dreading taking out all my dash wiring to remove my bulkhead for easier repair (than doing it in situe) Think ive just have an excellant idea for the hundreds of wires that would otherwise have to be painstackingly labled and removed, only to have to be individually reconnected...

Well, I Guess its not much of a problem for you guy's! Situation is, I dont really have a garage, other than to store tools in. Ive got all the "mechanical tools" (inc compressor and air tools, but NO welder, or much welding skill) My series landy have rotten footwells (both sides need...

    Bulkhead Welder

Hi, Have read that you need minimum of 130 amps to weld Land Rovers. This seems high to me, it would be fine if you want to weld the chassis. But i just want to weld in some new footwells, so im thinking even 100amps would be enough, as the bulkhead is a lot thinner. Do you think ill be ok...

    Footwell Replacement Cost

Hi, Anybody have any idea how much it would cost to have both series 3 footwells replaced, by a Landy Restoration place. I know having somebody else do the work defeats the object of owning a LR, but, just seems after buying all the gear, and stripping down, id rather just pay somebody to do a...

    Un-Testable Hbrake?

was worried about my handbrake, rolling 3 foot either side of the hbrake, as how would i tell the examiner that "its normal for it to roll like that" But somebody told me that as its a transmission break (aka, it locks the drive train instead of applying the wheel drum brakes) its UNTESTABLE...

    gear gaiters - series 3

Bit of a slow reply to the topic but; Think that gromets are the thingys that cover holes, and allow cables to go through things neatly etc. And Gaiters are the thingy's that go round the levers, and shafts, to make it look neat and stop crap getting in. Well thats what i think!

    Series 3 Bulkhead Rebuild

Hi, My series 3, looks great outside and underneath, but both the footwells are starting to look a bit iffy, you cant see through them as they're plated, but the splash guard has come loose, and they look a bit tatty from underneath. So over the winter planning to strip out the buldhead, brush...

    Damn MOT

Ive got a Series 3, coming up for its MOT in Nov, just want to ask a few questions; Everything that i can think of to pass it is done apart from the thingy's that tell you that indicators are on (you get a clicking noise, but no lights) Will it fail on this? I guess it doesnt need hazards for...
