My 90 tdi was stolen last night. Red 200tdi. Rear windows with safari guards. Chubb dead locks on front doors etc etc. They must have rolled it out some how coz it is usually parked under my window. Wokingham area. Police informed. Farm Watch notified. Local farmers and game keepers in the know...

mmm. Mine manages 26mpg c/w 265's, roof rack, roof spots, snorkel, heavy right foot and oh......1.5ton boat hanging off the back! Tyre pressures???? Can make quite a difference! :ballchain:

Hi, 92 yr 90.with upgrade intercooler, Roofrack+spots, 265's etc...rural roads with decent runs. Ave 26 - 28mpg. Certainly achieves circa 30mpg on decent runs, steady speeds not exceeding 60mph. Again. aerodynamics of a brick with flares and a hat!

Cheap 'one wire' alarms from an auction site just work on the shock principle. Just fitted one to mine. Only goes off if you bang a window or door...though not if you climb onto it. !!! You can adjust sensivity on them - mine is wound to most sensitive....mainly i think because i mounted it...

Well..............never bothered to report the attempted theft to the police... time better spent from paperwork! The 90's got decent proper deadlocks fitted on the doors anyway. The rear is protected by mantec window gaurds, Secret switch for the fuel stop - i think is a must. I got a steel...
