Get a copy of the service check sheet from the TOPIx/GTR site. It's reasonably straight forward except for the fuel filter. The filter itself is easy to do, but you may have serious problems bleeding it of air afterwards.

The EGR valve is at one end and on certain later models there is the cooler as well. You need to make sure you get the kit for the later TD5 as it differs from the earlier (and very late) Disco2 TD5 without the cooler.
