Afternoon Managed to get washing machine and tumble dryer out of Grand daughters house, get em on me truck and take em to brothers to be stored. Going to do fridge freezer tomorrow :) Nearly tea time :D

Dont pay much attention to getting timing as per charts/figures in a book. Your engine needs as much timing advance as you can give it without the engine pinking under load Tune carb by the book if you like but then give it a little more fuel cause that's what they like I've never felt the need...

I had a lamp post which a passed at 3000rpm in third, started stopwatch and then stopped it at the firestation and noted my speed. Then tweaked it a bit and tried again to see if any improvement.

The power lines can't cope with all the buses plugged in at the same time, they'd melt :( Buses take a lot more power than cars so they use diesel generators

Evening Brand new battery dead flat on Volvo after being stood 3 days. 🤔 Have to have a look at it tomorrow

Managed to get it up to 11.9 volts and left it overnight, Twas down to 9.1 volts this morning so thinking it's goosed

Took my leisure battery off the caravan to charge it at home. Solar sposed to keep it topped up but there was only 3.5 volts in it. Is it time foe a new one 🤔

When you put vac advance pipe on the tickover will speed up and you'll have to adjust it down

If timing too far advanced it will act like a flat battery when turning over.
