It's just a toy most of the time, found sat nav handy around Edinburgh when we went though I usually look up my destination on google maps first and then just go, nav is handy when it gets complicated in strange cities, my memory isn't what it was and things change over the years.

Now you see it isn't, Put address in yes, press ok, yes, but gets complicated after that with too many options . I had to try different things before I got it to work, manual wasn't helpful

I did my full new galv chassis with patio cleaner in a kitchen spray. Washed it off and did it again Dulled the shine off it ready for paint Painted in black gutter paint and still good when I sold it years later

I have a spare 200 tdi sump, not sure what yours is though obs not a 200 tdi soz :D

Done it , put address in, press ok then press destination Now to find out how to store 'Home' in the memory and delete all the destinations stored in there 🤔

After 45 + years driving the highways and byways, some years pre most motorways, I can get most places without a map or a motorway. I do need the above A to Z books for the final mile or so though. It's just annoying that I can't get the nav to work or the bluetooth phone 🥲🥲

Now then, having trouble setting navigation on Freelander 2 I can put the address in and then get to screen with all the arrows on it but thats it, manual doesn't say what to do after putting address in to get it to work Old person so please be gentle 🙂

Is that a yes or a no ?

I just bought a 2008 Td4 and can't answer any of your questions, only know the navigation thingy is complicated until you read the instructions :D

Just a thought regarding vac advance Putting your foot down retards the ignition, lifting it off advances ignition to allow for leaner mixture.

Bottom, , top is attached to damper piston , bottom is at jet end You can fine tune by rubbing brasso on to remove little at a time

File a little off the bottom third of the needle, that'll give it more fuel at full throttle :)
