I use foam ear plugs,cheap and quick and I can still hear the radio. I have no carpets or foam and I never got around to fitting any door seals, its been like that for over 10 years.

I've not driven the billing course but I would give the swamp a miss. Muddy water is like grinding paste and it will get in to all the moving parts and fill the chassis with mud.

Mazda 3.5 slt is 4 cylinder, very smooth and it all most's purrs,it's not got the diesel rattle of some diesels. 130 hp and lots of torque. I think it sounds nicer than some of the modern 4x4 diesels.

As far as I know Ifor williams are the only trailer maker who have beam axles and leaf springs,that why they are so strong and regarded as the best built trailer on the market. Indespension type axles are not very strong and bend.

Ifor williams make a tilt bed trailer. I bought a new 16" tilt bed trailer from them 6 years ago. I didn't want a beaver tail as I use the trailer for all sorts of jobs. A very good trailer a part from the maxamiler tyres which went out of shape,now replaced with a different make.

The best ever engine made that fits on to the zf gearbox and fitted to many RR and LR is the very smooth and powerful Mazda 3.5 slt. M&D fitted these engines and can still supply the fitting kit.

Massage read and pm sent. This RR has been in a shed for 7 plus years and was driven there. The VC was seized and the front prop uj broke. The engine ran very well, but it's been parked up for a long time. It's been removed as I want the chassis for a series 3.

I'm going to use the 109 as a daily drive and fuel consumption is the only reason I'm going to fit a diesel. I need a good chassis if any one has one spare.

I've just bought a series 3 station wagon 109 to fix up, but I am not going to use the engine. It runs sweetly. I may also sell the gearbox with fairey overdrive, fairey hubs and axles. Not sure on what the bits are worth. I'm in Cambridge btw. You tube clip of engine...

Your wasting your time with the finer points of if its legal or not, as using wmo as a fuel in a diesel engine will cost you more in time and hassle than it's worth. It's no good as a fuel and will constantly crud the tips of your injectors up.

£200 for the v8 and £500 for a diesel conversion. :)

I fitted air con to my two door Range Rover and it's great. In the summer having cool air blowing on my face is very nice. If you can find a 4 door RR classic with air con then fit that along with the dash in to a two door RR. :)
