    right then gents,just been out disconnected the coolant temp sensor,started with a couple of cranks-yippeeeeee.and i have,nt used it all week.question is will it hurt the car to run without it.i can,t get one till middle of week.

    cheers matey,the one connected to the inlet manifold is the intake air temp sensor,then theres the 2 behind the fip,i,m presuming the furthest from the front of the car is the coolant sensor but whats the other 1?fuel temp.

    cheers lads,mines a 2.5dse,might be in my head but it seems to do it just after i,ve give it a bit of welly up hill?not quite sure if this is related in any way to my poor starting problem i have.the only corroded connections i can see are the ones to the starter motor.

    hiya amongst my many p38 faoults i,ve developed a dangerous gearbox fault which cuts power to ignition,stalling the car.luckily its only happened at 20mph,but its left me wondering what if it happens at 70mph:eek:.any ideas folks.
